Marking the International Day of Older Persons and World Music Day, the Library hosts a workshop showing how music can be everywhere, using the body, voice and everyday objects to create rhythm. Free participation, subject to registration, for people aged 55 and over.

Full details

To mark the International Day of Older Persons and World Music Day, both celebrated on 1 October, the Library is organising a workshop that will demonstrate how music can be everywhere if there is room and respect for a fundamental element: rhythm. We will use our own bodies, the sound of our voices, glasses, boxes, tubes and other objects which, combined with movement and rhythm, produce music together in an active and fun way! Target audience: General (55+). Free participation, but subject to registration: HERE. Information: 214 815 403/4 (landline call) | weekdays from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm. Organisation: Cascais City Council.

Público-alvo: Geral (M/55). Participação gratuita, mas sujeita a inscrição: AQUI. Informações: 214 815 403/4 (chamada para a rede fixa nacional) | dias úteis das 10h00 às 13h00 e das 14h00 às 18h00. Organização: Câmara Municipal de Cascais.
