Postcards are one of the main references of the Lebanese alternative scene. Together since 2012, they have released five albums, translating a particularly turbulent period in the history of their home country into raw and melancholic songs, halfway between dreamy pop and some shoegaze. On their most recent album, 'Ripe', from last year, the trio of Julia Sabra (voice, guitar, electronics), Marwan Tohme (guitar, bass) and Pascal Semerdjian (drums) sounds looser, simultaneously vulnerable and sharp. We can't wait to hear their songs on March 15 at Rés do Chão da Casa Capitão.

Os Postcards são uma das principais referências da cena alternativa libanesa. Juntes desde 2012, lançaram cinco álbuns, traduzindo um período particularmente turbulento na história do seu país natal em canções cruas e melancólicas, a meio caminho entre a pop mais onírica e algum shoegaze. No mais recente álbum, “Ripe”, do ano passado, o trio de Julia Sabra (voz, guitarra, electrónicas), Marwan Tohme (guitarra, baixo) e Pascal Semerdjian (bateria) soa mais solto, simultaneamente vulnerável e acutilante.
