Tabanka Djaz return to the stage of Lisboa Ao Vivo for a unique and emotional night, celebrating the memory of Caló Barbosa, historic keyboardist, producer and founding member of the band, whose passing marks 20 years. A fundamental figure in building the sound and identity of Tabanka Djaz, Caló left a deep mark on the music of Guinea-Bissau and the Portuguese-speaking world. In this special concert, Tabanka Djaz will revisit the greatest hits of their career, including unforgettable songs that marked generations, in a tribute show to one of the most influential musicians in the group's history. The night will also feature the participation of luxury guests who shared the stage, friendship and history with Caló Barbosa and Tabanka Djaz: Yuri da Cunha, Rui Sangara, Loony Johnson, Dom Kikas and Nifeko. More than a concert, it will be a celebration of friendship, of African Portuguese-speaking culture and of the legacy of an artist who helped write some of the most important pages of modern Guinean music.
