In this workshop in the gardens of the Museu de Lisboa, families discover who occupies the insect hotel and learn about the importance of insects in the city. Participants are challenged to build their own hotel and to understand the ecological role of bees, bumblebees, butterflies and other insects.

Brief Introduction In a fun way, we will see who occupies the insect hotel installed in the gardens of the Museu de Lisboa, and thus learn the importance of insects in the city, promoting the existence of richer and more sustainable ecosystems. Synopsis Currently, it is recognised that installing insect hotels can help conserve local biodiversity and promote the appearance of beneficial insects in urban areas. Therefore, in this visit-workshop, families will be challenged to build their own hotel and to discover the relevance of bees, bumblebees, butterflies and other insects, their ecological role and influence on natural resources. Supplementary Notes Activity aimed at children, accompanied by at least one adult. Prices General - 5€

Breve Introdução De forma divertida vamos ver quem ocupa o hotel de insetos instalado nos jardins do Museu de Lisboa, e assim aprender a importância dos insetos na cidade promovendo a existência de ecossistemas mais ricos e sustentáveis. Sinopse Atualmente, é reconhecido que a instalação de hotéis de insetos pode contribuir para conservar a biodiversidade local e promover o aparecimento de insetos benéficos em zonas urbanas. Por isso, nesta visita oficina, as famílias vão ser desafiadas a construir o seu hotel e a descobrir a relevância de abelhas, abelhões, borboletas e outros insetos, o seu papel ecológico e influência nos recursos naturais.
