With their captivating blend of electronic music, art pop, saudade and Latin alternative rock, Ão has established itself as one of the most vibrant acts on the Belgian scene. The quartet has developed a unique and innovative voice that escapes any label, much like Stromae, Rosalía or C. Tangana before them. Inspired by her Mozambican and Portuguese roots, Brenda Corijn sings in Portuguese and English with a warm and magnetic voice, perfectly combined with Siebe Chau's sun-drenched guitar, Jolan Decaestecker's textured electronics and Bert Peyffers' eclectic percussion. On stage, Ão offers a captivating and exciting experience that seduces audiences from all corners of Europe. Their dynamic sound, ranging from fragile and intimate melodies to danceable rhythms, invites the listener into an enchanting universe where you never know what comes from where. On February 13, 2026, 'Malandra', the group's new album, was released. A malandra is a woman who moves through the world with mischief, intelligence and cunning, not always following the right path, but resolutely true to herself. With Malandra, Ão pays homage to complexity, diversity and investigation in all its forms. There are no seated or reserved places at Casa Capitão concerts.
