At the Museu do Oriente, a single ticket gives access to the permanent exhibition 'Portuguese Presence in Asia', with over 3,400 pieces, and the temporary exhibitions 'Japan: Festivals and Rituals' and 'From Matrix to Print', with free entry on Fridays from 6pm to 8pm.

Brief Introduction The ticket to the Museu do Oriente gives access to all the exhibitions on display. Permanent Exhibition: "Portuguese Presence in Asia" [Floor 1] With more than 3,400 pieces, this collection includes Chinese and Japanese screens from the 17th and 18th centuries and a nucleus of armorial porcelain from the East India Company. Temporary Exhibitions: Japan: Festivals and Rituals [Floor 2] Until 3 January 2027 Throughout the year, numerous traditional religious festivals and rituals of great social and cultural importance take place in Japan. Bringing together more than 1,500 pieces in an impressive scenography, Japan: Festivals and Rituals introduces these celebrations and their role in Japanese society.
