Born in Porto Mosquito, Santiago, Cape Verde, Garry has been establishing himself as one of the voices of the new generation of Cape Verdean music, winning over audiences with his own musical identity where romance, emotions and African rhythms meet. With a sound that crosses zouk, kizomba and afro, Garry has built a career marked by authenticity and a special connection with those who follow his music. His songs speak of love, longing, relationships and universal feelings, crossing borders and bringing different generations together. Over the last few years, tracks such as “Bum Bum na Peto”, which surpassed 13 million views, “Sunha Ku Bo”, with more than 2.5 million, and “Passada”, which reached one million views in less than 15 days, helped consolidate his growth and take his music to increasingly wider audiences. With the release of “100% MI”, Garry reinforced his artistic identity and presented a project that translates his essence, his roots and the singular way he lives and interprets music. Between concerts, new releases and an increasingly solid presence in Cape Verdean and Portuguese-speaking communities, Garry has been building a career that now reaches one of its most important moments.
