A guided tour of Casa dos Bicos, a 16th-century house in Lisbon with archaeological remains spanning 2000 years.

Brief Introduction A house with 500 years! Between walls with half a millennium of history, a past that spans more than 2000 years of the city of Lisbon is revealed. Synopsis Located by the Tagus River, Casa dos Bicos is one of the most notable examples of 16th-century civil architecture. Commissioned by Brás de Albuquerque around 1522, this building witnessed different eras and uses, and holds in its Archaeological Core traces from the Roman occupation to the present day. In this visit, participants will explore the history of the house and the city, discovering the secrets hidden behind its stones shaped like diamond points or 'bicos'. Prices General - 5€
