(R)encontro no Azulejo brings Lourdes Castro and Ilda David together in an intergenerational dialogue around light and shadow, honouring Castro's historical bond with Galeria Ratton since its founding in 1987. Open Monday to Friday, 10h to 13h30 and 15h to 19h.

(R)encontro no Azulejo proposes a sensitive dialogue between two generations of artists: Lourdes Castro and Ilda David. Starting from the relationship between light and shadow, the project crosses distinct but deeply complementary plastic universes, in an encounter that pays tribute to Castro's work and her historical connection to Galeria Ratton since its founding, in 1987. In Ilda David, light takes on a vibrant, almost sculptural presence, breaking free from the pictorial surface and finding an echo in the subtle interplay of shadows that marks Lourdes Castro's imagery. The azulejo becomes here a territory of dialogue, where memory and contemporaneity cross, revealing unexpected continuities in Portuguese art. ARV. Monday to Friday, from 10h to 13h30/15h to 19h.
