Concert by Joshua Idehen, British-Nigerian poet and musician known for his work with Sons of Kemet, presenting his spiritual project built with producer Saturday, Monday. Doors open at 9:30 PM, concert at 10 PM.

When, in 2018, Sons of Kemet shook the foundations of English jazz with Your Queen is a Reptile, amid the percussion and brass shakes, a voice emerged. Joshua Idehen; British-Nigerian poet and musician, who declaimed with authority, both on the first song of the album and the last. His voice snaked through the instrumental, awakening a curiously double sensation: Idehen's recitation sounded both healing and threatening. That duality has guided a career that has always placed the voice at the forefront. Everything in Idehen's spiritual proposal, built in partnership with producer Saturday, Monday, revolves around the vocal element. He is, at the same time, a rapper and a spokesperson for the new Afrofuturism. Doors open: 9:30 PM. Concert: 10 PM.
