A creative workshop by Teatro Praga, with Cláudia Jardim and Diogo Bento, at the MAAT: starting from the works in the 'Turn around' exhibition, participants build narratives and performative proposals with the body and movement, in a final result open to their families.

Brief Introduction Teatro Praga x MAAT workshop With Cláudia Jardim and Diogo Bento Teatro Praga comes to MAAT and challenges us to form ideas with the body and through movement in a creative workshop, in which works of art are the point of inspiration for letting each person's expressiveness flow. We will think together and draw inspiration from the works in the exhibition Turn around. Um Olhar sobre a Coleção de Arte Fundação EDP. As a group, with the sharp eye of each participant, we will select a series of works from the exhibition. We then move on to creating possible narratives and plots, which will be suggested and interpreted by the participants themselves, under the attentive supervision and mediation of creators and actors Cláudia Jardim and Diogo Bento. First, attention is generated around the works, material is imported, ideas are stolen, influences are gathered, and then a performative proposal is exported with all the freedom and pleasure we are entitled to, with the respective families invited to watch the final result. Teatro Praga is an artistic collective founded in 1995, based on Rua das Gaivotas in Lisbon, which presents itself as a group or federation of artists. The members of the collective take on different roles in the creation of the shows, valuing experimentation, constant transformation and the unrepeatable nature of the theatrical act. Their artistic practice challenges the traditional structures of theatre, refusing fixed answers and encouraging the spectator's maximum responsibility.
