Guided tours at B-MAD, Berardo Art Deco Museum, located in the former summer residence of the Marquis of Abrantes in Alcântara, showcasing the Berardo Collection's works illustrating Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco movements.

The B-MAD, Berardo, Art Deco Museum is located in the heart of Lisbon, in the former summer residence of the Marquis of Abrantes, in Alcântara. Visitors can discover various works from the Berardo Collection, illustrating the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco movements. In an effort to preserve the building, period environments were created, giving visitors the possibility to admire the styles in a city residential context. The contemporary musealization highlighted the works and their illustrious creators, excellently represented in the Collection, such as Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann, Alfred Porteneuve, Jean-Michel Frank, Jacques Adnet, René Lalique, and Jules Leleu. The Portuguese presence is felt through the renowned sculptor Ernesto Canto da Maya and the artist Eloy de Jesus Pereira, along with original drawings by Ruhlmann for the Casa de Serralves and part of the silverware drawings from the former Ourivesaria Reis e Filhos, in a tribute to Porto. There is also a reception and shop space, which connects to a secret garden with a terrace, designed in the Deco grammar. Here visitors can enjoy an exclusive range of products from Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, surrounded by the masters, music, and aura of the 'Roaring Twenties'.
