A percussionist, pianist and trumpeter guide us through the world of Miles Davis, exploring the infinite possibilities of improvised music.

Synopsis In Mile(s)tones, a percussionist, a pianist and a trumpeter guide us through the fascinating world of legendary composer and jazz icon Miles Davis. The adventurous and innovative approach to music is the starting point of this production, leading us through a labyrinth of ever-changing spaces and atmospheres. One moment we might be in the vibrant creative center of a recording studio or on stage as one of the musicians; the next, we are creating the soundtrack of a film live or in the famous music painting studio. In this concert, we will experience the infinite possibilities of improvised music through the compositions of Miles Davis, with members of the renowned Belgian jazz ensemble De Beren Gieren, Fulco Ottervanger and Simon Segers, and trumpeter Bert Bernaerts as ideal guides.
