A creation by Bouchra Ouizguen that explores movement from simple gestures and elements such as air, light, heat, weight and stability, inviting the spectator to observe and feel. With performers from the company Dançando com a Diferença, the show celebrates the diversity of bodies and the poetry of gesture.

Synopsis This World is a creation centered on gesture, breath and quality of presence. The movements are built from simple figures, inspired by the elements – air, light, heat, weight, stability – and develop a succession of situations rather than a linear narrative. Sound and light accompany the bodies without illustrating them, leaving the spectator a space for observation and listening. Each performer brings their singularity and their own way of inhabiting movement. Certain bodily differences enrich the dialogue between bodies and turn each gesture into living language and poetry. Bárbara explores lightness, Sofia verticality, Sara heat and energy, Telmo weight and stability, Joana suspension and balance. The dramaturgy is built from these states, with constant attention to what circulates between bodies, breath and light. My own journey inscribes itself in this process: availability for play, listening and presence in the moment. This World is a crossing, from shadow to fragile clarity, from turmoil to inhabited silence. Slowness becomes strength, softness becomes courage, and each singularity becomes light. The spectator is invited to observe, feel and inhabit time with us. Each gesture, each breath, each silence counts as much as the movement itself. It is a space of poetry and play, where shared experience overrides performance, where the diversity of bodies becomes strength and beauty. This World is not just a show: it is a living place, inhabited, where poetry is born from attention to the other, to oneself and to the world.
