At Fundação Carmona e Costa, Carlos No presents the installation 'ÓSTRACOS', addressing the fragility of the human condition, exclusion and the imbalances born of social dynamics, political choices or war.

Carlos No brings to Fundação Carmona e Costa an installation that summons questions long present in his work: the fragility of the human condition, exclusion, the margins and the imbalances resulting from social dynamics, from the helplessness created by political options or by war. The singular place that ÓSTRACOS occupies in Carlos No's work thus stems not so much from the expectations of meaning conferred by the title, but from the added complexity that the worked matter and the production process conceived by the artist confer upon it.
