Flora Hibberd presents her indie-folk songs, including debut album 'Swirl' and new record 'Mammoth', at Casa Capitão's Sótão on 24 September as part of Last Tour's Esquenta series.

Flora Hibberd's songs blend with meticulous tapestry work. Drawing on rock and synth-pop as well as traditional 17th-century songs, but always anchored in indie-folk, her music is as mundane as it is cosmic, with surreal allusions and raw emotions. Her debut album, “Swirl”, earned her rave reviews last year, and the new “Mammoth” sounds like a promise fulfilled. Produced by Bem Lanz, of The National, it is stranger and bolder than the 2025 record, populated by ghosts of history and prehistory that wander through the present and face the future head-on. On 24 September, she presents her songs in our Sótão, in another concert of the Esquenta series, conceived by Last Tour, which brings to Casa Capitão the artists who, sooner or later, we will see on the stages of major festivals such as MEO Kalorama.
