With original text by Angolan writer Ondjaki and Miguel Sermão, and directed by Miguel Sermão, the show follows Martina's adventure on her journey of discovery and self-improvement aboard a pirate ship, until she becomes a sailor. In a fun and engaging story, aimed at children from 3 years old, current themes are addressed such as bullying and gender discrimination, oral, personal, social and environmental hygiene, but above all the importance of cultivating imagination, of dreaming and growing up without prejudice. The actors Maria Mendes, Sara Cipriano and Xavier António bring to life the 168th production of the Comuna and promise a moment of fun and reflection for the whole family on fundamental themes of today that cut across all generations. More than a pirate adventure, the play is a journey of discovery where difference is a strength, imagination has no limits and challenges are opportunities for growth. Ages 3 and up.
