This exhibition invites visitors to trace almost a century of Cascais's evolution through public and private collections of illustrated postcards, essential visual testimonies for discovering the urban, social and landscape transformations that shaped the territory. Since the late 19th century, these postcards have carried images of Cascais's beaches, streets, hotels and landscapes around the world, accompanied by messages in the most varied languages. Between words of affection and travel accounts, they became true ambassadors of the town, revealing the beauty of its bay and preserving the memory of an era. Through the dialogue between old postcards and current photographs, the exhibition gives new life to images and words of other times, revealing how Cascais was experienced and shared by successive generations. An unmissable journey through the memory of the territory, where each postcard holds a story waiting to be discovered! Opening: October 22, at 6:00 p.m.
