Synopsis InShadow, Lisbon's only video-dance festival, is back! From November 13 to December 18, the 18th edition of InShadow takes place in various venues across the city, presenting proposals and unexpected encounters between cinema, dance and technology. Over the previous seventeen editions, hundreds of artists and technicians have been presented, many of national and international renown, while others had their first opportunity to stand out before the public. The programming demands from the spectator an open and attentive attitude. In this edition, the programming includes performative, formative, cinematic, photographic, installation-based, animated, documentary and fictional moments. The Festival highlights the representation and celebration of the body in different media and screens. Shadows and imaginaries cross paths, without losing sight of current themes. The International VIDEO-DANCE Competition takes place at Teatro do Bairro from November 24 to 28, presenting 65 films from 27 countries, representing the global panorama of video-dance.
