Celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Municipal Library of Cascais, with open doors and free activities for all ages.

On January 25, 2026, the Municipal Library of Cascais, Casa da Horta da Quinta de Santa Clara, completes 25 years serving the population and culture in the municipality of Cascais. Celebrate with us this quarter century dedicated to books and reading; to knowledge and democratized access to information. To commemorate this milestone, we will organize various initiatives that express the history, cultural value of the Library and its dynamic relationship with the people of Cascais. We highlight January 24, with the Library services open from 10:00 am to midnight, a day full of special moments, and January 25, with activities until 10:30 pm. On January 25, we will sing Happy Birthday to the Library, with the traditional blowing out of candles and cutting of the anniversary cake. Throughout the year, we will offer a diverse set of activities for all ages, with free access, highlighting the events detailed below.
