The MAC/CCB — the Museum of Contemporary Art and Centre for Architecture at the Centro Cultural de Belém — is dedicated to modern and contemporary art, holding works by Calder, Picasso, Warhol, Paula Rego and many others. Tickets cost 15€, with a 50% discount for residents in Portugal and 20% for ages 7–18, students and seniors, plus free entry on Sundays until 2pm for residents.

A must-visit in Lisbon, it regularly features in The Art Newspaper's ranking of the 100 most visited museums in the world. It holds a significant representation of national and international names, such as Alexander Calder, Almada Negreiros, Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso, Amedeo Modigliani, Andy Warhol, Cindy Sherman, Doris Salcedo, Francis Bacon, Helena Almeida, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Joan Miró, Louise Bourgeois, Lourdes Castro, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Nan Goldin, Niki de Saint Phalle, Pablo Picasso, Paula Rego, Piet Mondrian, René Magritte, Richard Serra, Salvador Dalí and Wifredo Lam, among many others, held in the storage of the Berardo Collection, the Teixeira de Freitas Collection, the Ellipse Collection and the State Contemporary Art Collection on loan at the Museu de Arte Contemporânea/Centro Cultural de Belém. With a history of around 30 years of exhibition and museological activities, initially as an Exhibition Centre (1993, 2005) and later as the Berardo Collection Museum (2006, 2022), it was inaugurated in 2023 as the MAC/CCB, Museum of Contemporary Art and Centre for Architecture. Located in Lisbon's quintessential heritage district, it contributes to the Centro Cultural de Belém's mission of fostering the dialogue between the performing arts, architecture and the visual arts.
