A workshop for children aged 7-12, exploring Indonesian shadow theatre and the legend of the Rice Goddess, with puppet making.

Brief Introduction WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN the museum invites… Indonesia Saturday | 26 September 15:00 to 17:00 For children [7-12 years] Participants: Min. 6; Max. 10 Registration until 21 September What if a story could be built with just shadows? What if among them we discovered the Rice Goddess so venerated in Java and Bali? In Indonesian puppet theatre, behind the screen, shadows come to life and expression, Along with what they convey, they entertain those who watch their stories! In this workshop we will sow stories, with hand puppets. Designed for children aged 7 to 12, the Children's Workshops propose a playful-pedagogical approach to the Museum's collections, in light of themes from history, art, geography or literature. All activities include a practical and creative component that stimulates the assimilation and sharing of knowledge. In case of cancellation: A full refund of the registration fee will be made when cancellation is communicated up to 8 working days before the activity. After that date, a refund can only be considered if the place is filled or in situations of illness, accident, or other duly proven force majeure.
