Efterklang return to Portugal to present their new album 'Things We Have In Common', featuring Zach Condon and Mabe Fratti. A deep exploration of surrender and belonging.

Efterklang are back in Portugal. Between December 5 and 12, the trio composed of Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg will travel the country to present their latest record, Things We Have In Common, scheduled for release on September 27 via City Slang. With over 20 years of history, Efterklang bring with them an album that closes the trilogy started with Altid Sammen (2019) and continued with Windflowers (2021). This new chapter is a deep exploration of “surrender” and “belonging”, marked by the collaborative return of Rune Mølgaard, founding member who co-wrote seven of the nine tracks on the album after a long absence and a complex spiritual journey. Things We Have In Common is described by the band as a simpler and more inclusive form of expression. The record features luxury contributions, such as Zach Condon's (Beirut) trumpet on the single “Getting Reminders” and the voice and cello of Guatemalan Mabe Fratti on the latest track, “Plant”. There are no seated or assigned places in Casa Capitão concerts. To ensure a good position facing the stage, it is advisable to arrive early. And be ready to spend one or two hours standing.
