Carlos No presents the installation 'ÓSTRACOS' at Fundação Carmona e Costa, addressing the fragility of the human condition, exclusion and the imbalances of social dynamics.

Carlos No brings to Fundação Carmona e Costa an installation that summons questions long present in his work: the fragility of the human condition, exclusion, the margins and the imbalances resulting from social dynamics, from the helplessness created by political choices or by war. The singular place that ÓSTRACOS occupies in Carlos No's work thus stems not so much from the expectations of meaning that the title confers on it, but from the complexification that the material worked and the production process conceived by the artist confer on it.
