In this workshop, participants explore the Japanese beauty ritual, learning its principles and creating two personalized skincare products with natural ingredients like rice, azuki, and camellia oil.

Brief Introduction NATURE, CONSCIOUSNESS, HARMONY 10am to 1pm Ages 12 and up In this workshop we will address the beauty and skincare ritual in Japan, which aims to achieve perfect skin: soft, luminous, and healthy skin. Through an immersion in the Beauty Ritual in Japan, we will understand the principles and philosophy of care and the steps of the Ritual (including the mechanisms and needs of the skin and the objectives, ingredients, and application methods). In the second part of the session, we will feel and explore a set of natural and iconic ingredients of the Japanese Beauty Ritual, such as kome (rice), azuki (azuki beans), jikou (kaolin), Tsubaki (camellia oil), and Yuzu (Japanese lemon), and each participant will create two personalized care products (a cleansing product and a nourishing product), according to their skin condition, which they will take home. This journey into the Japanese Natural Beauty Ritual offers a clear understanding of the importance of natural and conscious beauty, the basic needs and behaviors of care, and a discovery of the unique and incredible properties that the plant universe offers us.
