An anthological exhibition dedicated to Paulo Bruscky, a pioneer of conceptual art in Brazil, tracing his work from the 1970s across visual and sound poetry, performance, mail art and new media.

This anthological exhibition dedicated to Paulo Bruscky (b. 1949, Recife, Brazil) offers a comprehensive reading of the career of one of the pioneers of conceptual art in Brazil. Since the 1970s, the artist has been exploring the relationships between art, communication and technology, crossing languages such as visual and sound poetry, performance, mail art and new media. The Bruscky nucleus in Brusque, begun in the 1980s, exemplifies his singular approach: from the coincidence between names, the artist builds a body of works that link chance and logic, transforming the everyday into poetic and critical matter. Curated by Natxo Checa, the exhibition reveals a deeply semiotic practice in which the unexpected becomes a driver of creation. ARV. Monday to Saturday, from 18h to 22h.
