Zinnie Harris's Further Than the Furthest Thing, translated by Joana Frazão and directed by João Meireles, runs at Teatro Paulo Claro from 17 September to 17 October. On one of the world's most isolated island communities, the arrival of a stranger brings the promise of progress — and new forms of power that slowly erode a balance built on silences, beliefs and secrets, until the volcano awakens.
