Music and singing have played a fundamental role in health and well-being throughout History, being recognized as powerful therapeutic and social instruments, from the oldest societies to the present day. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Chinese and the Indians represent some of the various cultures that, over the centuries, have used music in healing ceremonies, whether during the production of medicines, or in an immersive environment, in the context of mental and physical health. In the collections of the Pharmacy Museum, there are several pieces with musical instruments or with references to the famous sirens of Ulysses.
