Origami workshop to learn how to create anesama dolls, an ancient Japanese tradition.

Brief Introduction ORIGAMI WORKSHOP, ANESAMA DOLLS With Mami Higuchi DATE | Saturday | October 10 TIME | 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm PARTICIPANTS | Min. 12 Max. 20 PRICE | €25 (materials included) Historically, in Japan, paper, besides being a writing instrument, has also been used in many everyday items, such as lanterns and umbrellas. Artistically folded paper came to be used to decorate religious rituals and gifts, which led to the development of the art of ORIGAMI. ANESAMA dolls originated in the Edo period, when women of samurai families created paper dolls to play house. We invite you to dive into this ancient Japanese tradition and learn the technique of origami, creating your own unique pieces.
