Lisbon Irish Session brings the tradition of Irish sessions to Casa do Fauno: an informal musical gathering with no stage, where fiddles, concertinas, bagpipes and other traditional instruments bring jigs, reels and polkas to life. Three hours travelling through the soundscapes of Ireland, also passing through Portuguese, Galician, Scottish and Swedish tunes.

Lisbon Irish Session brings the tradition of Irish sessions to Casa do Fauno. With no stage or distance between musicians and audience, more than a concert, a session is an informal musical gathering where musicians get together to play traditional Irish tunes. Fiddles, concertinas, mandolins, bagpipes and many other traditional instruments meet to bring the jigs, reels, polkas and pints to life! 🍻 It will be three hours of travelling through the soundscapes of Ireland - also passing through Portuguese, Galician, Scottish and Swedish tunes, in a musical gathering between long-time friends. Founded in 2007, this Irish traditional music session has stood the test of time and has never stopped to this day. 🍀 Sláinte!
