The Cascais Philharmonic Bands Festival brings together the seven philharmonic bands of the municipality, celebrating intergenerational talent and the work of local associations. The 10th edition is co-organized by the Cascais City Council and the Sociedade Recreativa e Musical de Carcavelos, with free entry.

The Philharmonic Bands Festival is an annual event that brings together the seven philharmonic bands of the Cultural Associative Movement of the municipality of Cascais, celebrating intergenerational talent and the continuous work of the associations throughout the year. The 10th edition is co-organized by the Cascais City Council and the Sociedade Recreativa e Musical de Carcavelos, reinforcing the municipal commitment to valuing musical practice and recognizing the work developed by the associations. Participating are the Sociedade Recreativa Musical de Carcavelos, the GRD 1.º de Maio de Tires, the GSMD de Talaíde, the Sociedade Familiar e Recreativa de Malveira da Serra, the Sociedade de Instrução e Recreio de Janes e Malveira, the Sociedade Musical Sportiva Alvidense and the Sociedade Musical União Paredense. Free entry. Organization: Cascais City Council and Sociedade Recreativa Musical de Carcavelos. SDG: 10 (Reduced inequalities).
