Guided tour of the ongoing exhibitions at Pavilhão Julião Sarmento, including 'Once Upon a Time in America', 'Conversation of Crows' and 'Everything is in your mind...'.

Brief Introduction Guided Tour of the Exhibitions Once Upon a Time in America, Conversation of Crows and Everything is in your mind... We will begin by visiting the second long-term exhibition of Pavilhão Julião Sarmento, Once Upon a Time in America, curated by Isabel Carlos and sculptor Rita McBride, author of the striking Arena (1997, ongoing), of which we present an unprecedented version conceived and built by students and professors of Architecture from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. In this new Arena, we will discuss topics sparked by works from the Julião Sarmento Collection. The exchange of ideas will continue at the exhibition Conversation of Crows, by Fariba Hajamadi, questioning intersections between artistic practice, museum culture and historical narrative. Finally, the visit will pass through the new exhibition by Vasco Araújo, Everything is in your mind...
