A guided tour through the former Central Tejo, the thermoelectric power station built in 1908 that supplied the whole Lisbon region with electricity, featuring original machinery and the story of electricity's evolution towards renewable energies. Daily (except Tuesdays) at 1:30 pm and 5 pm, free with a museum admission ticket.

A tour through several spaces of the former Central Tejo, the thermoelectric power station built in 1908 that supplied the whole Lisbon region with electricity. Among original machinery in a perfect state of conservation, the story of this old factory is told, as well as the evolution of electricity up to renewable energies. Every day (except Tuesday), at 1:30 pm and 5 pm. Free visit upon presentation of a museum admission ticket.
