A theatre piece by Maria Gil inspired by Nan Shepherd's 'The Living Mountain', reflecting on our imaginative relationship with the wild world. General admission costs €10, with a discount for students in groups.

Brief Introduction In the middle of the Second World War, Nan Shepherd writes 'The Living Mountain', describing her journeys through the Cairngorms in a meditation on the consolation and strength of untamed regions, focusing on the hidden elements of the mountain and our imaginative relationship with the wild world. In 1940, the manuscript's publication is refused and it would remain hidden in a drawer for more than three decades. This show starts from that 'Living Mountain' and from Shepherd's idea that the mountain is not a summit to be climbed, but a place one enters. A crack that opens.
