Synopsis Life is about Losing Everything Benjamin Ramírez Pérez, Stefan Ramírez Pérez (Germany, Netherlands, 2026, 100’) Doc. Exp. English and French original, English subtitles. M/16 A hybrid documentary that combines, in equal parts, the portrait of a feminist artist and a fantastic memoir, exploring loss and love through the lens of pop culture and art. Based on the eponymous memoirs of Canadian poet Lynn Crosbie, the film follows several fictional incarnations of Crosbie as they embark on a delirious journey through the writer's memories and imagination, encountering along the way celebrity look-alikes, a man an inch tall, mysterious high school students and a Zombie Sylvia Plath. Drawing on a profusion of pop and literary references, the film reflects on the role of art and narrative in the search for affinities and in giving meaning to our lives.
