Synopsis Accessibility: Performance in Portuguese Sign Language on 21 February. War and Peace, a title kindly borrowed from Lev Tolstoy's novel, is a creation by Cátia Pinheiro and José Nunes, with text developed in collaboration with artist and rapper Capicua, designed for childhood but open to all ages. At a time when images of war burst into our lives daily through televisions and smartphones, it becomes urgent to create spaces for shared reflection between children and adults. Starting from the ideas of war and peace, the show offers a close look at how we relate, organise and inhabit the world. Between intimate and collective conflicts, visible and invisible borders, the question arises: how are conflicts built, and why do they persist, in the world we share?
