With a magnetic presence and a voice that oscillates between power, sweetness and theatricality, singer and songwriter Juliana Linhares has been establishing herself as one of the most singular voices in contemporary Brazilian music, crossing tradition and experimentation, emotion and thought. After the impact of her debut album, 'Nordeste Ficção', and four intense years on tour, she finally released her second record, 'Até Cansar o Cansaço', in March this year. Inspired by dialogues with neuroscientist Sidarta Ribeiro, it is a poetic response to the collective exhaustion of our time, diving into the universe of dreams as a space of resistance, reinvention and imagination, where body, art and culture meet. The new album, which includes big-name collaborations such as Ney Matogrosso, PC Silva, Khrystal and Juliano Holanda, has its live presentation in Lisbon scheduled for 25 October.
