Brief Introduction Herbaria are fundamental tools for getting to know flora. During a walk through the garden of Palácio Pimenta, participants observe the variety of plants and learn to distinguish trees, herbaceous plants and climbers by their leaves, flowers, fruits or seeds. In this challenge of observation and exploration, the goal is to record, collect, draw, catalogue and unveil the secrets of the natural world in a first herbarium. In this workshop, we discuss the importance of preserving natural ecosystems and the need to develop sustainable practices to ensure a healthy future for our planet, particularly in cities. Breve Introdução Os herbários são ferramentas fundamentais para conhecer a flora. Durante um passeio ao jardim do Palácio Pimenta, observa-se a variedade de plantas e aprende-se a distinguir árvores, herbáceas e trepadeiras, a partir das suas folhas, flores, frutos ou sementes. Neste desafio de observação e exploração, o objetivo é registar, recolher, desenhar, catalogar e desvendar os segredos do mundo natural, num primeiro herbário. Nesta oficina, discutimos a importância da preservação dos ecossistemas naturais e a necessidade de desenvolver práticas sustentáveis para garantir um futuro saudável para o nosso planeta, em particular, nas cidades.
