Nomad Gathering: ATÉ CHÁ Tea Week

R. Barbosa du Bocage 16, Sintra

An afternoon dedicated to the living world of tea — its origins, rituals, landscapes, and the ways it brings us back to presence. As part of ATÉ CHÁ Tea Week, we open the doors of Nomad Tea Temple for a special occasion in the forests of Sintra — bringing together rare wild teas, tea ceremony, traditional banya, spring water, warmth, and deep human connection. The gathering begins around tea. We will explore a selection of rare wild and organic teas, each carrying the character of the land where it grows, the trees it comes from, and the hands that shaped it. Through slow brewing and shared tasting, we will move beyond tea as a beverage — experiencing it as a living practice, a way of slowing down, listening, and meeting one another.

Throughout the ceremony, live music and sound will accompany the journey, unfolding naturally alongside the tea, creating space for listening, stillness, and presence.

From the tea table, the journey continues into the warmth of a traditional banya — with fragrant steam, oak and birch veniki, heat, cold and the elemental rhythm of water. Each guest will receive a private veniki ritual inside the banya, while the hot plunge, cold plunge, and natural spring water pool remain open throughout the evening.

There will be space for silence and conversation, for tea shared by hand, for warmth, laughter, and the simple feeling of being together in the forest. ✨ Part of ATÉ CHÁ Tea Week 🍃 Rare wild & organic tea ceremony 🫖 Guided exploration of tea, its origins & character 🎶 Live music & sound journey 🔥 Traditional banya with oak & birch veniki 🌿 Private veniki ritual for every guest 💧 Hot plunge, cold plunge, ice tub & natural spring water pool 🌲 Nomad Tea Temple in the cedar forest of Sintra
