Djugurba, the philosophy of the Australian aborigines, evokes the ancestral law where the earth, the sea and the human being coexist in the same temporal space. This project results from a collaboration between Gonçalo Guimarães, Miguel Coelho and Stephanos Kokorelis with the photographic contribution of local artists. Inspired by this connection, this exhibition follows two figures deeply rooted in the ecosystem somewhere on the Australian coast. Crossing photography and video, the project seeks to reflect on the contact with the sea, respect for the community and the preservation of the place to which they belong, without revealing coordinates or exact geographies.
