The Diários de Lisboa (Lisbon Diaries) project, an initiative of social, community and cultural photography with the participation of the Movimento de Expressão Fotográfica (MEF), energizes the daily lives of the senior inhabitants of Marvila, Carnide and Misericórdia. Through photography as a means of communication, we encourage participants to create visual diaries that record their life stories, memories and perceptions of the territory where they live. This interactive approach values their experiences and provides a new form of expression, in addition to fostering spaces for coexistence and sharing, strengthening the sense of belonging.
