After 25 April, a woman returns to the abandoned house of her late mother for a final farewell to the place where she grew up. As she walks through each room, forgotten object and corner taken over by vegetation, Maria Mercedes leads the audience on a guided tour through the ruins of her memory. The house, slowly swallowed by nature, reflects the cry of the communal experience marked by the impositions of a rural society under dictatorial precepts. In a journey that oscillates between the collective and the individual, the degradation of the house reveals itself as a powerful metaphor for the erosion of the past in contrast with the libertarian shift introduced by the revolution.
