The workshop consists of nine theoretical-practical sessions devoted to character construction. Different character-building techniques are experimented with while reading authors such as Ítalo Calvino, Flannery O'Connor and Hebe Uhart, who challenge participants to reflect on writing. The programme also includes a field trip. In the second part of the course, each participant chooses one of the characters they have been building to develop a series of short narrative texts. The exercises are read and commented on collectively during the course.
