We will have the opportunity to create pieces for the upcoming Christmas season, such as platters for codfish, decorations for Christmas trees or even small pieces to give to those we love most. This hands-on pottery workshop is inspired by Cape Verdean tradition, with a focus on the knowledge passed down by women potters. Participants go through all the stages of the ceramic process, from hand modelling and raw finishing to the introduction to engobes, glazes and basic firing notions.
