In Águas Turvas (Murky Waters), Inês Zenha (Lisbon, 1995) creates a fluid and immersive landscape where identity, desire and corporeality intertwine in a continuous process of transformation. Starting from a vocabulary that is simultaneously poetic and political, the artist proposes an underground journey through systems, the body and human infrastructures, in which water, bodily fluids and clay become the guiding threads of that transformation. This «becoming liquid» constitutes the conceptual and formal axis of the exhibition. In their refusal to be fixed, classified or contained, liquids mirror the dynamics of queer experience, marked by notions of negotiation, transition and resilience. Water thus ceases to be merely a metaphor and takes on the role of protagonist, crossing and connecting the different works. The exhibition space transforms into a kind of post-human grotto, simultaneously temple and sewer, where pipes and hydraulic systems intersect with performative gestures, turning the exhibition into a living organism that breathes, overflows and digests. In this porous environment, the public ceases to be a passive observer to take part in a choreography of flows, being invited to feel within themselves the rhythmic movement of the water. Wednesday to Monday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. sculpture installation painting.
