If the young man had known his host's age, he would not have visited. However, he decides to stay with him, who did not invite him for sex, but for deeper and more intimate matters. Matters the young man did not know he needed to become familiar with. A door opens to freedom for the young man, a place without judgment, as he finds himself alone with an old man whose memory betrays him and who forgets everything. On a night when everything will later be erased, the young man begins to transform. How far can one go in committing atrocities against oneself and others just to avoid being alone? And is there anything that can stop human instincts when surveillance ceases? Yes Daddy was awarded Best Foreign Theatre Production by the French Syndicat de la critique. TNDM II, TMP, and TBA have established an institutional partnership to host the company Khulood Basel, Khashabi Theatre Palestine in Portugal, jointly promoting the presentation of the shows Al-Sirah Al-Hilaliyah (at TMP and TNDM II) and Yes Daddy (at TBA), in a logic of cooperation between cultural structures to strengthen artistic circulation and public access to contemporary international creation. Bashar Murkus and Khulood Basel have worked together since 2011, combining artistic vision and independent political production thinking in creating theatrical works on human and political themes. They are the founders of Khashabi Theatre Palestine in Haifa, an independent Palestinian theatre created with a group of Palestinian theatre makers, which defends art and creativity as a natural right. It is a space that challenges social, political, and artistic taboos and forms a renewed state of art that depends on cooperation and mutual support.
