Saturday 31 October – Sunday 21 February

MAAT, Lisbon

Brief Introduction Guided tour of the exhibition VENUS, Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos The exhibition VENUS, Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos is a dialogue between art and haute couture, being an adapted version of the original project developed by PM23 | Fondazione Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, in partnership with Valentino S.p.A, and presented in Rome in early 2026. For this exhibition at MAAT, the artist designed a specific exhibition route for the museum space, which unfolds in a fluid way, bringing together some of her iconic works, such as 'Coração Independente' (Independent Heart) and 'Marilyn', and new creations inspired by the universe of the Italian designer. The guided tours of MAAT's temporary exhibitions aim to be an informal space for experimentation, promoting knowledge and dialogue, in a shared responsibility, inviting visitors to take on an active role.
