With a Heart Free of Worries is the new exhibition by Pedro Cabrita Reis, one of the most internationally recognized Portuguese artists. Curated by João Pinharanda, the show brings together a significant set of works that highlights the diversity of his artistic practice, marked by the dialogue between painting, sculpture, drawing and installation. In the Oval Gallery, the visitor is enveloped by a large-scale painting installation, while the route to that space reveals drawings, sculptures, assemblages and series of paintings that bear witness to the artist's visual universe. Using found materials, everyday objects and fragments of daily life, Cabrita Reis transforms traces of urban and rural life into works of strong poetic and plastic intensity. Between references to art history and a constant reinvention of contemporary language, the exhibition proposes a reflection on memory, matter and art's ability to attribute new meanings to the world around us. ARV. Wednesday to Monday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Technical sheet: Curated by João Pinharanda.
