The Atlantic Cliffs Adventure returns to Charneca for its sixth edition. It is a trail running event organized annually by the União Recreativa da Charneca, in the heart of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. The race is already a national reference. Participants face the mythical climb to Peninha and run along the suspended valleys of the Cascais coastline. It is also a sustainable way to discover the unique natural landscapes of the Cascais coast and its saloia villages: Charneca, Malveira da Serra/Almoinhas Velhas, Biscaia and Figueira do Guincho. The program includes two competitive trail running races, the Trail Longo K20 and the Trail Curto K10, and a non-competitive walk with a playful and social character. All routes are circular, starting and finishing at the União Recreativa da Charneca. At the end, the village of Charneca welcomes all participants with its warm hospitality and the traditional hot soup.
