The three-day program combines an international congress on the future of the literary sector with readings, book presentations and conversations with writers from all over the world. What consequences does this have for literary writing, translation and publishing? How are social networks and the growing spread of disinformation transforming the public debate about literature? The congress provides a space for international exchange of experiences on these changes and debates possibilities for cooperation between literary festivals, book fairs, publishers and other cultural institutions. The program features authors such as Lídia Jorge, David Van Reybrouck, Andrei Kurkov, Nouri al-Jarrah, Siri Hustvedt, Gonçalo M. Tavares, Maaza Mengiste, Ilya Kaminsky, Radka Denemarková, Dorota Masłowska, Stefan Weidner, Michi Strausfeld or Alberto Manguel, who is also president of the lisbon literature days. Free.
